1982-1997:  K-12 Experience teaching students computer applications; teaching teachers how to integrate technology into instruction.

7/2014-1/2017: Employed by the Foundation for the California Community Colleges, served as Executive Director for the Online Education Initiative 
  • Facilitated the planning process and worked collaboratively with the CCC Community to establish the initiative including:
    • Development of state-wide course design standards
    • Selection of common course management system for the 114 CCCs
    • Development of the CCC Online Course Exchange
    • Managed Budget of $56.9m
    • Planned expenditures for additional $20m grant from the California Legislature
    • Developed the groundwork for the receipt of $10m additional ongoing funding to cover the full cost of the CMS for the colleges
    • Establishment of OEI Resource ECO system
